Associate Customer Project Manager

 

 

At NKT, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer projects that align with our company goals and forecasts. We are seeking a dynamic Associate Project Manager to join our Customer Commercial Service team and oversee projects from order to completion.

Transform Customer Projects

As an Associate Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of customer projects. You will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, coordinating with various teams to ensure timelines are met, and presenting progress reports to stakeholders. Your proactive approach and organizational mindset will be key in managing project changes and resolving any issues that arise.

Facilitate Teamwork and Achieve Success

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure efficient project handover and startup, working closely with engineering and supply chain teams to coordinate project timelines.
  • Present progress reports and manage any project changes, ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed.
  • Coordinate with external inspectors and auditors to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.

You will interact with a variety of internal teams, including Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Offer & Tender, as well as external project team members, customers, inspectors, and vendors. Your ability to communicate effectively with these diverse groups will be crucial to your success.

The Profile We Are Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Training: Project leading training.
  • Experience: Experience in HVAC/HVDC products (a significant advantage).
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in German or Swedish is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational mindset.
    • Proactive attitude.
    • Excellent people skills.
    • Proven track record of managing complex projects.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience with project management software.
