Production Controller

 

 

NKT is seeking a dedicated Production Controller to join our team in Alingsås, to cover for one of our colleagues that will go on maternity leave. This is a temporary position at start but for the right person – NKT is in an expansive phase globally and has many career opportunities in the pipeline. Together, we connect a greener world!

You will play a crucial role in enhancing our finance support model by strengthening and increasing manufacturing performance transparency and related improvement guidance. Furthermore, you will proactively identify and address performance improvement opportunities and establishing KPIs for efficient operations management.

 

Primary tasks:

  • Lead standard operations finance processes aligned with the yearly financial wheel, including budgeting, forecasting as well as monthly reporting and analytics
  • Manage production variances, CAPEX, operations OPEX, inventory, and AP analytics, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring financial accountability
  • Oversee the financial aspects of product cost calculations, including hourly rates and overheads
  • Lead and enhance the local financial operations compliance framework, including production orders, variances, product cost, stock count, slow-moving stock, and fixed assets

 

Demonstrating adaptability and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment

We seek a skilled individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate and challenge multiple stakeholders. You should possess sharp analytical abilities with a proven track record of improving operational efficiency through innovative reporting and analytical frameworks. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be adaptable and responsive in a dynamic work environment.

 

Requirements

  • University degree within Economics, preferably with a focus on financing/financial economics – or equal
  • Min. 5 years of experience in production controlling – preferably within an international manufacturing company
  • Professional fluency in Swedish and English, both written and verbal
  • In-depth understanding of end-to-end finance and production processes, including ERP, BI, and related IT systems
  • Strong proficiency in SAP, particularly CO/FI modules
