Job Description

Ensure quality, safety and reliable cable testing
Do you want to play a key role in ensuring quality and safety in cable production while supporting the green transition? As Supervisor Test Room / Quality Engineer in Asnæs, you will combine people management with quality engineering responsibilities, helping ensure that products meet specifications, customer requirements and international standards. Oversee testing processes and quality assurance activities
In this position, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the test room while supporting quality assurance activities across the organization. You will work closely with production, laboratory technicians, engineers, suppliers and customers to ensure products, processes and systems comply with company standards and regulatory requirements. The role combines practical quality work, team coordination and continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on maintaining safe and efficient operations.


Your responsibility will be to:

  • Plan, coordinate and oversee product inspection and testing activities
  • Ownership of testing room equipment (calibration, purchasing/replacement and other supporting activities)
  • Investigate non-conformities, customer complaints and corrective actions using root cause analysis and 8D principles
  • Participate in daily/weekly meetings with production & engineering to inform about non-conformities or quality issues. 
  • Maintain and improve quality standards, procedures and quality control systems, based on ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, including sustainability monthly reports
  • Manage, support and develop employees in the test room, including recruitment, shift management and annual performance reviews
  • Participate, coordinate or support on internal & external audits, certificate documentation and collaboration with laboratory and production teams


The position is based in Asnæs and reports to the Quality Manager, Asnæs. Limited travel of approximately 1-15 days per year may be required. You will work closely with the local Quality team, production functions and global stakeholders.

You also have:

  • Degree in quality, industrial, electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance or a similar role
  • Minimum 2 years of people management experience
  • SAP Quality Module knowledge
  • Fluent Danish and English language skills
  • Familiarity with LEAN principles
