We are looking for a new colleague to the R&D team, who can contribute to NKT being the preferred cable supplier for all customers. Contribute to creating and maintaining the design of cables
Working in the intersection between business, technology, and production, you will collaborate closely with Technical Sales Engineering, Production, and Quality in creating the data basis for the production of cables. This includes the preparation of production documentation from specifications, material master data, and test routings. You will contribute to a safe and positive work environment ensuring compliance of cables with standards, and customer and legislative requirements. 

 

Other responsibilities and tasks will be to:

  • Optimize cable designs 
  • Limit the impact of our production and products on the environment
  • Assist in developing new cables
  • Support Technical Sales Engineering and Sales in offers and tenders
  • Initiate and follow up on different kinds of tests


Practical problem-solving attitude
We are looking for candidates with technical skills, perhaps with a couple of years of experience in development and project management. You can recognize yourself as being a curious, innovative, and initiavetive-taking personality. As you will be part of a R&D team spread at all our production sites, you will need good communication skills. Together with your structured and detail-oriented approach, this will make you an important part of our team. 

 

Furthermore, your CV will include:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering 
  • Cable knowledge is of course a benefit
  • General IT skills, like Microsoft Office 
  • Fluent in English
