At NKT, we are committed to delivering the highest quality products to our customers. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team and ensure that we maintain, build on and improve our quality standards.

 
This position is located at our production site in Asnæs, and you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the business from the lab to production, sales, suppliers and customers.

Secure high quality in all main processes
As the Quality Engineer, you will plan, execute and oversee inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specifications and deliverables. We are expanding our production, which requires a focus on developing and implementing quality standards and quality control systems in a new environment to support production activities in case of quality deviations. Part of the job also involves documenting complaints, nonconformities, and corrective action procedures using records and tracking systems, including root-cause analysis. Hence, FMEA is an approach you are familiar with. 

Your contribution is key to everyone in our production 

• Ensure that workflows, processes and products comply with safety regulations
• Assist operations team in tracking, documenting and reporting different quality levels
• Investigate product nonconformities and complaints in accordance with internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements
• Develop and update relevant complaint and inspection procedures
• Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes and products to ensure quality specifications are met
• Develop corrective actions, solutions and improvements
• Ensure the maintenance of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
• Provide training and support to quality assurance team members

Structured, yet able to adjust when necessary
Details and structure are fundamental for a lean quality process. You possess a constructive mindset that allows you to effectively communicate and engage with teams throughout the organization. Even though you bring experience, you are still keen learning new skills, and your ability to merge new and known ways of working is key for effective collaboration within the quality team. Your commitment to tasks and agreed deadlines is pivotal to secure the delivery to our customers. 

We believe that you have:

• A BSc. in Quality Management, Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical engineering or related field
• Solid experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role
• Knowledge of quality management systems, standards and methodologies (like ISO 9001 and FMEA)
• Fluently in Danish and English
• Experienced in Microsoft Office and SAP
