
Associate Project Manager (m/w/d)
Actively supporting project management in the international energy environment
Would you like to support projects in the field of energy infrastructure from planning to completion, working closely with experienced project managers and international teams? As an Associate Project Manager (m/f/d), you will take on an important role in the project management of large-scale projects and contribute to the successful implementation of quality, deadlines, costs and safety requirements. How about actively supporting the expansion of the energy transition?
Coordinate project processes and support important processes
In this position, you will support project directors and project managers in the implementation of complex projects. You will work on the planning, documentation, tracking and coordination of various project activities and ensure that internal, contractual and legal requirements are taken into account. In doing so, you will gain insights into different project phases and work together with various departments as well as external partners.
Your tasks are:
- Support in planning, controlling and documenting projects
- Coordination and follow-up of work packages and schedules
- Organizing, taking minutes and following up on project meetings
- Support with cost, sales and payment monitoring
- Participation in contract, subcontractor and project documentation tasks
You will work closely with project directors, project managers, contract managers and financial controllers. The assignment takes place at our project locations as well as at the respective NKT locations. Project-related travel activities can be part of the role.
Structured personality for complex project environments
You work in an organized, reliable manner and keep track of several topics at the same time. You are characterized by strong communication skills, a sense of responsibility and a careful way of working. You appreciate working with different teams and stakeholders and approach tasks in a solution-oriented manner. You are also willing to familiarize yourself with new topics and actively contribute to the success of the project.
You will also bring with you:
- Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, engineering, business administration or a comparable discipline; alternatively, technical or commercial training with corresponding further training
- Professional experience in project management or project-related environment
- Knowledge of project planning and project documentation
- Understanding of contract and project processes
- Knowledge of cost and deadline tracking
- Experience in working with interdisciplinary project teams
