Technical Offer and Order Management for Power Cable Projects

Would you like to support complex high-voltage projects from the tender phase through to successful project completion? As a Technical Offer and Order Manager (m/f/d), you will work on technical customer solutions for energy infrastructure and contribute to the green transition. Working closely with customers, Sales, Project Teams, and international partners, you will play a key role in the technical development, cost calculation, and execution of complex cable system projects.

Support Technical Projects from Tender to Delivery

In this position, you will combine technical planning, project management, and customer support. You will assess customer inquiries for technical feasibility, develop suitable cable system solutions, prepare technical quotations, and support projects throughout the entire order execution process. You will work closely with internal departments, customers, and subcontractors while ensuring that quality, cost, and schedule targets are achieved.

Your responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and preparing technical customer inquiries and quotations
• Creating technical documentation, cable system descriptions, and cost calculations
• Planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects and schedules
• Collaborating with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Managing cost control, complaint handling, and project close-out documentation

You will report to the Director Operations Grid Solutions and work closely with Sales, Contract Management, Procurement, and Project Management. The position is based in Berlin and includes occasional site visits and customer meetings.

Structured Project Professional with Strong Communication Skills

You work independently, approach tasks in a structured manner, and maintain an overview even in complex project situations. You enjoy regular interaction with customers, internal departments, and external partners. You are known for your reliability, analytical mindset, organizational skills, and solution-oriented approach. You value collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and work professionally in an international environment.

In addition, you bring:

• A degree from a University of Applied Sciences in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
• At least 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in technical quotation preparation and project execution
• Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and MS Project
• Experience with technical calculations and electrical cable systems
