NKT is embarking a great transformation project that aims to merge three existing ECC platforms to ONE unified S/4Hana platform.
We are starting from fresh and we are looking for a great team to develop the program in close collaboration with the business. This is a great opportunity to join a program with huge potential at the very beginning.
We have an ambition to deliver a new ERP base to support the growth of NKT during a multi-phased 4-year program. The program will introduce new technology, new platforms and new business templates.
For this journey we are looking for a Lead Architect with a focus on Finance to join a team of other architects.
Set the direction for our future financial architecture
As our Lead Architect for Finance, you will set the direction for future SAP S/4 Hana finance and controlling architecture in NKT Cables Group. You will draft functional SAP financial and controlling roadmaps in coordination with the rest of the ONE ERP Architecture team.
Through alignment you will work close with a broad variety of stakeholders both in Global Functions and especially in our Business Lines, to make sure that there is a coherent financial solution. A solution that also should cater for new business models in the organization.
You will contribute to building the foundation of the SAP Architecture team. Our goal in the team is to be the preferred partner for the business, when defining how ERP can support new business models and growth in NKT Cables Group.
Your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Together with the rest of the architectural team you will share responsibility for the architectural transition, providing an SME role in the Finance & Controlling space and contributing to the overall transition in other areas.
- Ensure the right architectural transition to S/4Hana within the Finance and Controlling space
- Ensure the short terms architectural maintenance of the three current ECC platforms until migrated to ONE ERP on S/4Hana
- Engage with business stakeholders to clarify their business purpose and derive a clear ERP strategy from here.
- Advocate standardization, scalability, and platform efficiency, keeping in mind the different nature of business within NKT
- Guide the engineering team/external partners to develop, configure and implement solutions as per design standards, defined by you and the architect team and in accordance with Enterprise Architecture guidelines.
- Monitor the work of the technical team and ensure standards are adhered to in accordance with SAP’s Solution Extensions
- Orchestrate the sequence of multiple projects and programs to ensure pace, quality, and timely delivery.
- You and the team will run inspirational workshops guiding the many stakeholders to the right solution for NKT.
- Participate in system configuration, ALM, upgrades, larger test etc.
You will join Group IT which has global responsibility, and our skilled employees represent multiple nationalities, working out of both HQ in Broendby, Denmark and our plant locations throughout Europe. This role will be placed at our HQ in Broendby together with your manager, the architect team and rest of the ONE ERP management team. 20-30 days of travel, primarily within Europe, is to be expected.
Key desired skill set
- 5+ Years’ experience from a similar role in a complex enterprise set-up, working with a solid background in the FI and CO domain.
- 5+ year experience working with large scale transformation programs, especially with some experience working with S/4 Hana
- Experience drafting and executing ERP strategies and roadmaps successfully
- Extensive experience translating business requirements into scalable ERP solutions
- You bring in depth knowledge on SAP Architecture and technology, and typically you have previous experience with other relevant tools, such SAP SAC, SAP Business Objects or SAP S/4HANA Embedded analysis
- You are a skilled communicator and used to working in a broad landscape of different stakeholders at all levels.
