At NKT, we’re enabling the energy transition by delivering high-voltage cable systems that power a greener world. As we grow, we’re looking for a Engineer – mBOM to join our dynamic team in Chennai (G3C) and support our KKA High Voltage Solutions business line.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Engineer – mBOM ,you will be responsible for creating and managing manufacturing bills of materials (M-BOM) for cables and accessories, ensuring alignment with project needs and production workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create M-BOMs in Windchill and SAP based on cable design and production flow
• Review and iterate BOMs with input from stakeholders
• Support packing BOM creation for accessories
• Assist in legacy cable data migration into Windchill
• Ensure adherence to PLM best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to BOM processes

Who We’re Looking For

Your Qualifications and Experience

We’re seeking a structured and detail-oriented professional with a passion for engineering and process optimization.

You bring:

• B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in M-BOM creation using Windchill in a relevant industry
• Proficiency in Windchill (PDM & MPM link), SAP, and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• A self-driven, analytical, and results-oriented approach
