Senior SAP Consultant - MM, P2P

As we embark on an SAP S/4HANA transformation, we are looking for a Senior SAP Consultant – MM, P2P to join our SAP Digital Core team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in optimizing procurement, inventory management, and materials master data governance across our global operations. Optimize core procurement processes across a global SAP landscape

In this role, you will support and enhance SAP MM and P2P processes, ensuring seamless procurement-to-payment operations across NKT’s European and international business lines. You will collaborate closely with procurement, supply chain, finance, warehouse, and technical teams to translate business needs into robust SAP solutions that deliver efficiency, visibility, and cost optimization.

Your responsibility will be to:
 • Configure and optimize end-to-end Procurement-to-Pay workflows across global operations
 • Ensure accurate materials master data governance, vendor setup, and source determination
 • Manage purchasing processes, goods receipt, and logistics invoice verification
 • Provide support for procurement and inventory issues across SAP landscapes
 • Support testing and documentation activities while promoting continuous improvement

You will collaborate with colleagues across Europe, reporting to the Senior Manager – IT. The position is based in G3C Chennai with opportunities for international travel.

Methodical SAP professional with deep understanding of procurement processes

You are a self-motivated, detail‑oriented professional who thrives in environments with changing priorities and enjoys solving complex system challenges. You value collaboration, communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, and approach problem‑solving with structure and curiosity. You are comfortable working with minimal supervision while contributing to a multicultural team, and you ensure delivery of high‑quality SAP solutions that support business needs.

You also have:
 • Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP MM and P2P implementation and support
 • Extensive experience with purchasing, inventory management, master data, and invoice verification
 • Demonstrated experience implementing S/4HANA materials management concepts and procurement processes
 • Integration experience with FI/CO, PP, SD, and WM modules
 • Experience with IDocs, EDI or third‑party procurement system integration
