Document Controller (m/f/d)

 

 

Are you looking for a challenging and exciting position in the field of high-voltage cables? The advertised position is initially limited for 18 months within the framework of a parental leave replacement.

 

 

Specialisation in complex high-voltage cable systems (DC)

Your responsibilities will be the overall documentation process within assigned projects / tenders. Your other main tasks will be the following:

  • Analyse contract/tender documents for project documentation requirements and ensure implementation in the project/tender execution process

  • Setting up and establishing the document management system at the beginning of a project/ tender, including the creation of mailboxes, filing systems, project specific procedures/ registers/ plans for controlling all project documentation and correspondence

  • Create documentation schedules and document registers to continuously monitor the entire documentation creation and release process (creation, review, release, dissemination)

  • Responsibility for all internal and external filing and archiving of all documents and maintenance of meta-data as well as compilation and delivery of final project documentation

  • Formal review of documents including layout, format, proofreading, graphics, etc.

 

In your new position at the Cologne location, you will report to your direct manager, Head of Document Control (m/f/d). Your team consists of project administrators and document controllers. Goal orientation, independence and high customer orientation

As a Document Controller (m/f/d) with excellent communication skills, you are no stranger to reliability and discretion. In addition, you are flexible and willing to travel and are fluent in German and English. Further language skills are an advantage. In addition, your curriculum vitae includes:

  • Technical or commercial training, technical degree advantageous

  • Sound knowledge of technical documentation in large-scale projects, ideally with experience in high-voltage cable projects

  • Very good knowledge of Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Macro-S, VBA and experience with M-Files or other document management systems
