Coordinate and manage land cable projects

Are you ready to coordinate dedicated cable projects and facilitate teamwork? As a Project Manager at NKT, you’ll be overseeing land cable projects, ensuring they meet economic, technical, and scheduling goals. Manage and execute cable projects with precision

In this position, you will oversee and guide cable projects within the land cable sector, directing project teams both in the field and in the office.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage project teams on-site and in the office
  • Manage economic, technical, and scheduling goals. Overseeing project calculations and budgets
  • Monitor and control construction progress and site results
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients and subcontractors
  • You will report to the Head of Project Management AC Onshore
  • Travelling is required (20%) within Germany and internationally

 

Experienced project manager with a technical background

We are looking for an engaging and flexible project manager with effective communication and negotiation skills.

You should have:

  • Experience in turnkey and supply projects, as well as contract and claim management
  • Skills in technical and financial project monitoring in an international environment
  • Proficient leadership and coordination skills for project teams
  • A technical or engineering degree that equips you with essential skills
  • Proficiency in German and English is a must, additional language skills are a plus. Preferred Dutch or Italian
  • Ideally IPMA Certification
