Commercial Manager (Tendering/Project Execution) (m/f/d)

Commercial Tendering and Project Execution in an International Environment

Would you like to play a key role in the successful delivery of energy infrastructure projects worldwide? As a Commercial Manager (Tendering/Project Execution) (m/f/d), you will support tenders and projects from the initial customer inquiry through to project completion. You will work closely with international customers, project teams, and internal stakeholders while contributing to the energy transition through modern high-voltage solutions.

Manage International Projects from Tender to Completion

In this role, you will be responsible for the commercial management of tenders and projects within the AC Onshore business. You will assess customer inquiries, prepare quotations including cost calculations and pricing strategies, and ensure professional commercial execution. In addition, you will coordinate financial, contractual, and logistical matters throughout project execution and work closely with customers, subcontractors, and internal interfaces.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and following up commercial quotations, including cost calculations and pricing strategies
  • Conducting risk assessments and reviewing commercial contract conditions
  • Managing commercial project execution, including SAP administration, invoicing, and cash flow monitoring
  • Supporting contract negotiations, variation orders, claims, and complaint management
  • Coordinating customers, subcontractors, and internal departments throughout project execution

You will report to the Director Operations Grid Solutions and work closely with international project teams. International travel is expected for approximately five days per year.

You communicate effectively with different stakeholders, adapt flexibly to changing requirements, and contribute to a collaborative team environment. A customer-focused mindset, reliability, and a high level of quality awareness characterize your approach to work.

You also bring:

  • Completed vocational training as an Industrial Business Manager, Export Business Manager, or a comparable qualification
  • More than five years of professional experience in a comparable commercial role
  • Experience in tender management, contract management, or commercial project management
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Experience working with SAP and standard Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage
