Digital Finance Specialist
Function:  Finance
Job Location (Short):  Kaunas, Lithuania

Job Description

Transform finance data into trusted business insights

Are you motivated by improving finance processes through automation, reporting, and data-driven decision-making? At NKT, Finance is moving towards governed data, automated workflows, and self-service reporting solutions. As a Digital Finance Specialist, you will help reduce manual work, improve reporting quality, and support our digital transformation journey within a global company contributing to the green transition. Do you enjoy identifying smarter ways of working and turning finance challenges into sustainable solutions?

Digitalise finance processes and automate reporting

As a Digital Finance Specialist, you will work closely with finance stakeholders to understand existing reporting and accounting processes, identify opportunities for automation, and build scalable reporting solutions. You will combine finance knowledge with Power BI, ERP data, and automation tools to create trusted data models and reporting structures that support decision-making across the business. Rather than simply building reports, you will evaluate business needs, assess existing processes where appropriate, and help establish consistent reporting standards throughout Finance.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Work with controlling, accounting, and reporting teams to review current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into reporting solutions and data models.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports, semantic models, and self-service reporting tools.
  • Automate recurring manual activities using Power Query, Power Automate, and related technologies.
  • Deliver digitalisation initiatives from scoping and testing through implementation, training, and documentation.

This position is based in Kaunas, Lithuania, within NKT’s Shared Service Centre. You will collaborate closely with finance users and cross-functional stakeholders in an international environment.

Curious finance professional with a process mindset

You are someone who enjoys understanding how processes work and finding practical ways to improve them. You ask questions before proposing solutions, communicate clearly with different stakeholder groups, and are responsible for your work from start to finish. You are comfortable balancing quick improvements with long-term value and enjoy working in a collaborative environment where learning and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.

You also have:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, controlling, or financial reporting.
  • Practical experience working with ERP systems as SAP.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills, including data modelling and Power Query.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
