As a Process Engineer at NKT, you will ensure the capability and efficiency of our production processes and equipment. Optimize and innovate production processes
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the production plan for the machines and processes under your responsibility is followed. You will define and monitor performance indicators, ensure the capability of processes and equipment, and keep technical information up to date. You will carry out:

  • Collaborate in researching and defining equipment, materials, and processes to reduce production costs and optimize resources.
  • Promote and manage innovation processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and areas of activity.
  • Support operations teams during the industrialization process of new products.

You will report to the Operations Director in Esposende and work closely with various teams to attain operational excellence.

 

Innovative and collaborative problem-solver
We are looking for someone who thrives in a group setting. You should be able to communicate, build relationships with team members, and manage change efficiently. Your ability to guide and inspire others will be crucial in encouraging continuous improvement and innovation. You also have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective change management skills.
  • Experience with organizational communication, leadership, lean tools, time management, and SPP.
