You will help Operations Karlskrona use resources and capital efficiently while NKT expands the cable production required for the green transition.

Translate operational costs into informed business decisions

Working within Operation Analytics, you will examine cost factors across production, testing, equipment, maintenance and material flows. You will connect financial information with capacity, staffing and operational forecasts, while considering energy prices, raw materials, inflation and policy developments. • Identify financial risks and opportunities within operational processes
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and investment calculations
  • Provide weekly cost signals and quarterly financial scenarios

The position is based in Karlskrona, Sweden, and involves close cooperation with Operations and Finance as well as other operational functions. You will support line organisations in using cost optimisation methods and models. Any travel requirements will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Commercially minded analyst with a practical operational approach

You are structured, curious and able to consider both financial and operational perspectives. You communicate complex findings clearly and enjoy working with colleagues from different functions. You assess assumptions carefully, ask relevant questions and provide balanced recommendations. You also take a collaborative approach to sharing methods and helping operational teams use financial information in everyday decision-making.

You also have:

  • Experience analysing operational costs and cost variations
  • Knowledge of financial forecasting and scenario planning
  • Experience with budgeting and investment calculations
  • Understanding of production, testing, maintenance or capacity economics
  • Ability to prepare financial decision material from operational data
