
Coordinate Offshore Service Operations and Cable System Support
Do you want to work close to offshore operations and contribute to the green transition through reliable power cable systems? As a Site Manager within Grid Solutions at NKT, you will coordinate service agreements, warranty activities and repair operations for offshore cable projects. This is an opportunity to work in an international environment where safety, planning and collaboration are essential, while supporting customers and projects in Sweden and abroad.
Manage offshore service activities from planning to delivery
As Site Manager, you will coordinate service operations related to ongoing service agreements and project support activities. The role combines site coordination, customer interaction and technical documentation, while ensuring that work is carried out according to agreed procedures and HSE standards. You will also contribute during tender and project phases by providing service-related input and collaborating with internal stakeholders across several functions. A key part of the role is ensuring that service activities are well planned, documented and executed efficiently.
Your responsibility will be to:
- Manage service agreements and coordinate ongoing service operations
- Plan and schedule site activities, tasks and responsibilities
- Support warranty and repair activities for cable systems
- Participate in customer meetings and establish site work guidelines
- Prepare and maintain technical and service documentation
The position reports to Rozitha Almgren, Head of Site Managers. The role is based in Karlskrona and includes international travel of approximately 20-30%, with assignments both in Sweden and abroad.
Structured coordinator with offshore service experience
You are organised, quality-focused and comfortable managing multiple activities simultaneously. You communicate clearly with customers and colleagues and enjoy collaborating across functions to achieve common objectives. You approach challenges in a practical and methodical way, with a focus on safety, planning and delivering reliable outcomes. The role requires a person who can work independently while maintaining good cooperation with stakeholders in an international environment.
You also have:
- Knowledge in electrical or mechanical engineering through education or previous experience
- Experience from service, installation or after-sales activities within onshore and/or offshore operations
- Experience from installation projects, operations, civil construction work and contractual frameworks
- Experience creating and compiling technical documentation
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Experience with SAP or similar business/project systems is beneficial
