Drive infrastructure strategy and innovation

As Infrastructure Operations Architect, you will design and implement solutions that ensure NKT’s IT environment is efficient, scalable, and aligned with business goals. You’ll combine strategic planning with hands-on execution, making this role ideal for someone who thrives in both conceptual and operational settings.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Define and scope infrastructure improvements and modernization initiatives
• Oversee architecture design across IT projects
• Design scalable and resilient IT infrastructure solutions (networks, servers, storage, cloud, etc.)
• Maintain and execute infrastructure roadmaps
• Define and enforce standards, policies, and best practices
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal requirements

You will report to the VP – Infrastructure & Operations and collaborate closely with IT leadership, project managers, and key stakeholders. The role is based in Kaunas (hybrid work model) and includes approximately 10–20 travel days per year.

Strategic thinker with strong technical expertise

We’re looking for someone who is organized, methodical, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You communicate clearly and confidently, aligning stakeholders with facts and insights. Your ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution makes you a trusted advisor and an innovative problem solver.

You also have:

• A relevant academic degree in computer science or similar
• Certifications in Cloud, Network, and Infrastructure
• 5–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles
• Experience in complex, international IT environments
• Deep understanding of network architecture and modern infrastructure frameworks

The salary range for this position is from 4300 Eur to 5500 Eur gross.
