Lead Cloud Engineer

At NKT, we’re seeking a skilled Lead Cloud Engineer to ensure our Azure Cloud services are secure, efficient, and aligned with business and support function requirements. We need a self-driven, collaborative professional who is structured in their working style, results-oriented, and a data-oriented communicator capable of influencing others while meticulously documenting processes.
What can you expect from the position?
As a Lead Cloud Engineer at NKT, you will spearhead the design, build, and operation of our Azure Cloud infrastructure. You will ensure that IT infrastructure is developed, maintained, and operated in alignment with business and support function requirements, all within the constraints of the annual budget. Acting as the primary point of contact for Azure Cloud Services, you will drive the roadmap and business case processes for selected IT infrastructure services, ensuring robust and secure cloud operations.
Your main tasks will be:
• Owner and accountable for the quality of the Azure Cloud Infrastructure and the operational processes for maintaining and implementing changes to the environment.
• At all-time follow good practice and implement according to Group IT procedures and policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams provide technical guidance and to ensure that solutions pit for purpose.
• Ensure that solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud technology and incorporate them into the solutions.
• Drive improvement projects and daily operations.
• Align with stakeholders on requirements, priorities and opportunities
What do we expect from the candidate:
• At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
• Solid track record of running high quality and secure Azure environments and projects.
• Broad IT understanding of IT infrastructure, security, software and cloud services.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, deployment, and security best practices.
• English, fluently speaking and writing.
• Danish, Swedish, German, Polish or Czech is considered an advantage but not required.

Salary range for this position is from 4000 Eur to 6000 Eur brutto.
