Job Description

Coordinate IT infrastructure projects across global teams

Are you interested in coordinating IT initiatives that support a global organisation's digital operations? As a Project Coordinator within Group IT at NKT, you will help ensure infrastructure requests and smaller projects are planned, prioritised, coordinated and delivered efficiently across multiple IT teams. This is an opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineers and service managers while contributing to a well-coordinated IT organisation that supports NKT's continued growth and the green transition. Do you want to be part of an international IT environment where collaboration and structure make a real difference?

Coordinate infrastructure initiatives and demand management

As Project Coordinator, you will support Infrastructure & Operations initiatives across Group IT. You will act as the entry point for infrastructure demands, ensuring requests are properly assessed, documented and coordinated with the relevant teams. The role combines project coordination, stakeholder communication and governance support, helping to ensure that smaller and medium-sized initiatives are delivered consistently and according to agreed priorities. You will work across Network, Cloud, Endpoint, Onsite and ITSM teams while supporting project managers and contributing to effective project execution.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Coordinate small infrastructure projects, improvements and demand requests.
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, action trackers and status reporting.
  • Facilitate meetings and coordinate activities across multiple IT teams.
  • Monitor risks, dependencies, issues and project milestones.
  • Support governance processes and ensure smooth transition of solutions into operations.

The position is based in Kaunas and reports to Ingrida Jokubaite, Security Operation Manager, Group IT.

You are comfortable working in an international environment, communicate clearly and base decisions on facts and information. You enjoy creating structure, following up on actions and ensuring commitments are delivered according to plan. You also appreciate collaboration and can build positive working relationships across both business and IT functions.

You also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management, business administration or a similar field.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • A broad understanding of IT infrastructure, software and cloud services.
  • PMP, PIM or a comparable project management certification.
