Support global accounts receivable and financial processes

 

Join NKT’s Shared Service Centre for Accounting and Financial Control in Kaunas as a Senior Accounting Specialist. In this role, you will support Accounts Receivable activities for stakeholders across the globe while contributing to continuous process improvements and financial control. As part of an international company helping connect a greener world through power cable solutions for renewable energy and high-energy transmission, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in a collaborative environment. Manage accounts receivable and improve financial operations

 

As a Senior Accounting Specialist, you will play an important role in Accounts Receivable activities, supporting accurate financial processes, period-close activities, and stakeholder collaboration. You will work closely with colleagues across the organization, assist with audit-related tasks, and contribute to initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and financial control. The role also includes supporting colleagues and assisting the Team Leader when needed. 

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Issue invoices and handle incoming payments.
  • Participate in period-close procedures and audit activities.
  • Resolve or escalate accounting issues and exceptions.
  • Support and mentor junior team members.
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.

 

Detail-oriented accounting professional with collaborative mindset

 

You are a motivated and curious person who enjoys working both on your own and with others. You build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, take pride in delivering accurate work, and approach tasks with a customer-focused mindset. You are comfortable working in an international environment and value continuous improvement and teamwork.

You also have:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting, accounts payable, or accounts receivable.
  • Good understanding of internal controls and risk management practices.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office tools, particularly MS Excel.
  • Fluency in English.

Salary range for this position is from 2700 Eur to 3100 Eur Gross
