NKT Trainee Program 2025/26 - Cable Design

Our Trainee programme will offer you much more than just a “junior position”, you'll get to try out more skills of cable design, get international experience and get an in-depth knowledge of how a strong technology company works.

The 18-month programme is designed to help you start your career with confidence and perspective. From day one, you'll be a fully participating member of the team - no internship without pay, but a full-time contract with all the benefits that come with it.

During the program, you will go through several rotations across departments to get a broader overview of how the company works. You will have the opportunity to participate in an international internship within the international structure of NKT and you will be involved in real projects that deliver concrete results. In addition to technical development, you will work on specific projects, learn soft skills and receive one-to-one mentoring. At the end, you will find a specialized position that fits not only your focus, but also your personality and ambitions.

We are looking for new graduates of master's programmes in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy or related discipline who are looking to learn, think in context and are not afraid of challenges.

You can choose - the program takes place at our plants in Kladno or Velké Meziříčí. We will arrange the final placement together according to your interest.
