In this very advanced and innovative production process in the cable industry, we continue to invest significantly in the latest technology. 


As Director of workshop area 2, you will play a key role in optimizing production efficiency and strategic improvements by leading a team of leaders within a dynamic five-shift production setup, consisting of approximately 200 employees. You will be responsible for one of three workshop areas and work closely with the other managers to ensure seamless collaboration and performance.
 
Develop, motivate and lead our team
By coordinating and managing plant equipment, personnel and production workflows, you will be responsible for delivering efficient and cost-effective production outcomes that meet order requirements, technical specifications, quality standards and planning targets.

 

In addition, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Prepare and oversee the annual production budget, taking strategic actions to stay within financial and resource limits.
  • Oversee implementation of actions to improve production performance, while collaborating with continuous improvement teams to integrate Lean principles into production processes.
  • Lead, motivate and develop team members to reach their full potential.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and track progress.
  • Align actions with customer expectations and needs

 

Effective and strategic leader with ability to drive change

Your ability to facilitate changes while maintaining motivation among team members highlights your solution-oriented leadership style. With a focus on service and a commitment to customer satisfaction, you take responsibility for your own actions as well as those of your production team. Furthermore, your communication skills together with a deep sense of understanding, helps you cultivate and uphold fruitful connections internally and externally.


Additionally, your CV comprises:

  • Secondary technical education. A university degree in Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing is meritorious.
  • At least 5-10 years experience in supervising and mentoring other managers.
  • Experience managing people in a multishift production environment.
  • Change management experience with knowledge of Six Sigma or similar.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and willingness to learn about new technologies.
