Ensure reliable offshore equipment performance and lifecycle management

As Equipment Manager within Offshore Services, Grid Solutions, you will take end-to-end responsibility for equipment availability, maintenance, and development, contributing to efficient project execution in a global energy environment. Manage equipment lifecycle and maintenance across offshore operations
In this role, you are responsible for ensuring availability, functionality, and quality of cable handling equipment. You will plan and follow up maintenance, collaborate with suppliers, and work closely with internal stakeholders to secure reliable operations across assignments.
Your responsibility will be to:
- Plan, execute and follow up maintenance activities for cable handling equipment
- Ensure availability through preventive and corrective maintenance
- Manage supplier contacts for service, repairs, and investments
- Coordinate projects related to establishing and developing equipment
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance in maintenance systems
The role is based in Karlskrona and reports to Head of Site Managers, Rozitha Almgren. You will collaborate closely with Site Management, warehouse teams, and suppliers. International travel is expected 1–2 times per year.
Structured and solution-focused professional with technical background
You are organized and take a structured approach to planning and follow-up. You collaborate well with others and maintain a solution-oriented mindset when handling operational challenges. You are comfortable working across teams and building relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
You also have:
- Technical education or equivalent experience within mechanical, electrical, marine, or industrial environments
- Experience in maintenance, operations, or technical project management
- Experience in supplier coordination and service follow-up
- Knowledge of maintenance systems and documentation practices
- Professional proficiency in English
