We produce high voltage and extra high voltage power cable systems at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Karlskrona, Sweden, where we also have the largest AC & DC electrical test labs in northern Europe, and harbor Victoria - our purpose-built cable laying vessel. Design and deliver innovative cable systems

 

As a Project Engineer, Operations on our team, you will play an important role in designing and delivering high-quality AC and DC cable systems for our customers around the world. Your role will be to:

  • Manage and execute the engineering work within the allocated work module
  • Establish thorough understanding of the customer specifications relevant to the allocated work module in alignment with the Lead Engineer, raise clarifications and deviations
  • Perform comprehensive calculations including electrical, thermal and mechanical calculations
  • Define the respective test programs including qualification test, routine & sample tests, SAT tests
  • Support the Lead Engineer in establishing or executing the engineering budget related to the allocated work module

You will maintain continuous alignment with the Lead Engineer to ensure coordination of all work modules in a holistic manner. The primary work location is in Karlskrona, Sweden.

 

Committed and detail-oriented engineer

 

We are looking for a detail-oriented engineer with a solid technical background and systematic and analytical problem-solving skills. You should be able to manage your own responsibilities while also being open to collaborating and sharing insights with others. A collaborative approach, valuing the diverse technical backgrounds of your colleagues, and effective communication skills are crucial for this role.

You also have:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (other relevant Engineering disciplines, such as Physics, or related fields may also be considered)
  • Proficiency working with simulation software such as Matlab or Comsol is a plus
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Valid work permit for the intended work location
