Reporting to the Head of Project Execution, you’ll work closely with Project Management and Finance to monitor costs, support cash flow and meet contractual commitments. You’ll bring together accurate project data, timely billing and coordinated purchasing and logistics to support commercially sound project execution.
What you’ll do
Working with colleagues, customers, suppliers and subcontractors, you will:
- Support customer prequalification, enquiry reviews and cost calculations, and ensure orders align with quotations, negotiations and contracts at handover.
- Create and maintain customer orders, project structures, planned costs, materials, services and master data in SAP SD/PS.
- Monitor costs against the as-sold position, identify deviations and commercial risks, and support cost analysis and project reporting.
- Prepare advance, interim and final invoices, including contractual attachments and letter-of-credit documentation, and follow up payments to support cash flow.
- Coordinate credit checks, insurance, guarantees, bonds and other financial safeguards, and manage metal hedging and exchange-rate hedging requirements where applicable.
- Raise purchase requisitions, verify supplier invoices and coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, transport, export documentation and site deliveries in line with project plans.
- Support contract reviews, claims and change-order quotations, keeping commercial milestones and contractual requirements on track.
- Apply lessons learned to improve commercial processes and project execution, while demonstrating and promoting safe working behaviours in line with NKT policy.
What you bring
You’ll bring:
- Relevant experience in commercial project administration, order execution or project controlling.
- Experience with contract-based invoicing, cost tracking, payment follow-up and commercial risk management.
- Good commercial and financial awareness, with the ability to identify deviations, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Experience coordinating across functions and working with suppliers, logistics teams and customer requirements.
- Solid coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
