Job Description

Coordinate workforce planning and competence development

 

Do you want to play a key role in ensuring the right competence is available for some of the most important infrastructure projects supporting the green transition? As a Resource Planner at NKT, you will support the effective utilisation and development of our jointer workforce by providing reliable resource planning, capacity forecasting and competence oversight. This is an opportunity to work closely with Operations, Project Organisations, Management and the Training Center in an international company where planning and coordination are essential to meeting future demands.

 

Plan resources and optimise workforce availability

 

As a Resource Planner, you will support the planning and coordination of NKT's jointer workforce, ensuring visibility of resource demand, available capacity and competence status. You will work with forecasting, reporting and follow-up activities to support operational decisions and long-term workforce planning. By maintaining accurate planning information and competence data, you will help ensure that projects have access to the resources and certifications required for on-time delivery.

 

Your responsibility will be to:

 

• Maintain resource forecasts, capacity reports and utilisation overviews

• Monitor resource demand, capacity constraints and competence gaps

• Coordinate resource allocation input across projects and geographical areas

• Maintain the jointer competence matrix, including certifications and training status

• Support training prioritisation and recruitment planning through data and reporting

 

The role is based in Karlskrona, Sweden, and reports to the Head of Asset And Execution Travel within Sweden and occasional international travel may be required.

 

Structured planner with analytical and collaborative approach

 

You enjoy working with data, planning and coordination in a structured environment where accuracy and follow-up are important. As a person, you are organised, communicative and comfortable working with stakeholders across different functions. You can present information in a clear and practical manner and take a thorough approach to identifying risks, capacity considerations and development needs. You value collaboration and contribute to creating reliable planning support that helps colleagues make informed decisions.

 

You also have:

 

• Relevant education within workforce planning, business administration, operations, engineering, HR, supply chain or equivalent experience

• Experience in resource planning, capacity management, workforce planning, project operations or similar planning-focused roles

• Experience working with forecasts, dashboards, utilisation data and competence planning

• Fluent Swedish and English skills, both written and spoken

• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills

• Experience with SAP, Power BI or other planning/reporting tools is an advantage
