High Voltage Cable Jointer (UK Wide)

NKT is a vital part of the green energy transformation; working on large interconnectors, onshore cable systems and substations.  NKT is continuing a major expansion of its UK operations.

Do you have HV Cable jointing experience? Do you want to be part of the expansion in one of the world´s leading companies in high quality power cables and renewable energy, with a current UK order book to 2030 and beyond? Then we have opportunities for you!

We are looking for jointers with the skills and experience (132kV & upwards on XLPE, EPR, Fluid/Oil Filled & Gas type cables) to join our Service & Installation division. With this position comes the opportunity to develop and apply your skills to be trained on HVDC products up to 525kV.

•    Willingness to learn and/or improve your technical abilities
•    A track record of High Voltage and Medium Voltage jointing 
•    Drive and self-motivation
•    Teamworking skills
•    Power/Construction/Utility industry experience

As a pre-requisite for application, candidates must have the right to work in the UK, and hold a current and valid passport. Existing NKT product experience would be desirable but not necessary. Ability to travel UK wide will be essential with occasional overseas deployments for both training and short term project work.
