Successfully manage international service and cable projects

As a Site Manager (m/f/d) at NKT, you will manage service orders, repair projects and cable installations in the high-voltage grid and ensure a safe and successful project process. In this responsible position, you will work on challenging high-voltage projects, coordinate installation teams and act as a central interface between customers, project management and internal stakeholders. Take responsibility for service projects worldwide

As a Site Manager (m/f/d), you will take overall responsibility for ongoing service contracts as well as ad-hoc repairs in high-voltage projects. You will organise construction sites on the basis of technical and commercial specifications, coordinate fitters on site and ensure that work is carried out in accordance with technical standards, specifications and safety requirements. In addition, you will monitor project progress, costs and documentation and ensure that service assignments run efficiently. As the contact person for customers and project management, you will represent the interests of NKT in a professional and solution-oriented manner.

Your responsibility will be:

• Leadership, instruction and control of the assembly personnel on site
• Overall responsibility for service contracts and repair projects
• Ensuring occupational safety, quality and process compliance
• Monitoring of costs, timesheets and project reporting
• Creation and maintenance of project documentation as well as proactive problem solving

The position is based in the Cologne/Troisdorf area and includes regular assignments on construction sites in Germany and abroad. You will report to the Head of Site Management S&M Projects.

You are a committed and structured personality who likes to take on responsibility and keep track of things even in challenging situations. Thanks to your strong communication skills, you will be able to bring together different interest groups and develop successful solutions together. You work independently, act confidently in an international environment and know how to motivate teams and support them in achieving their goals. A high degree of security awareness, decision-making skills and customer orientation rounds off your profile.

You also have:

• Completed university of applied sciences degree in a technical field or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience of at least 1 to 3 years in the relevant environment
• Knowledge of high-voltage technology
• Experience in managing construction sites, also in an international environment
• Willingness to travel (Monday-Friday on construction site), stress resistance
• Very good knowledge of German and good English, both written and spoken
• Experience with common software such as MS Office
• Driving licence class B
