As a Technical / Machine Safety Manager – Group HSE you will be working closely with our teams in Europe – to ensure the compliance of our equipment with the safety requirements and join the journey towards zero injuries and healthy working conditions.

 

Your role as Technical / Machine Safety Manager – Group HSE

 

Your most important responsibilities will be:

Being responsible for group-level programs for occupational risk mitigation (i.e. technical safety, machine safety, hazardous works, electrical and chemical) and improving safety by developing and implementing standard solutions for equipment (sharing best practices)

 

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Managing and supporting the roll-out and implementation of safety programs in different locations and business line
  • Leading/coordinating specific global standard development and implementation
  • Supporting local plants regarding machine and equipment risk assessments

 

Qualifications

 

To thrive in this role you are able to work independently and have both people skills and technical skills, so you can act as a safety role model for your colleagues. As an experienced advocate of a safety culture, you are a team worker who inspires others to make changes and takes part in the energetic transformation.

 

You should also have:

  • Successfully completed university degree, for example but not limited to: Safety Engineer (Bsc/MSc), Mechanical /Electrical /Chemical Engineer (Bsc/MSc)
  • More important than your field of study is your experience (several years), with a strong safety background in technical/industrial environment
  • Solid knowledge of machine directives (and upcoming regulations) and use of work equipment directives and their practical implementation
  • HSE Management systems knowledge: ISO 45001, 14001, 50001
  • Knowledge and experience in managing occupational risks and related EU and national legislation

 

This role requires availability for business travel around 40-50% to our manufacturing locations, mainly in Europe, so preferably, you live close to an airport in Northen Europe.
