Job Description

Develop international accessory sales across key markets

Are you interested in shaping the commercial development of medium and high voltage accessories across international markets?

 

NKT is looking for a Director Sales - Rest of the World High Voltage (ROW HV) to support continued growth, build long-term customer relationships, and contribute to the energy transition. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with customers, commercial teams, and stakeholders across a global organization.

 

Develop customer partnerships and grow international markets

As Director Sales ROW, you will be responsible for sales activities across selected international markets, with a focus on medium voltage and high voltage accessories. Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you will support business growth, market development, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial activities. The role includes collaboration across the value chain, contributing to pricing strategies, customer agreements, and business planning while ensuring alignment with NKT’s commercial objectives.

 

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Manage and drive sales activities and commercial performance across responsible markets
  • Develop customer relationships and conduct contract and price negotiations
  • Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Cooperate with marketing on campaigns and commercial initiatives
  • Support performance management and development of the sales organization

 

The role reports to the Vice President Accessories Sales and collaborates with stakeholders across sales, production, technical support, customer experience, marketing, and finance. The position can be based in Alingsås or another location depending on the market. International travel of approximately 60-90 days per year is expected.

 

Commercial and analytical sales professional in energy markets

You are a collaborative and customer-focused person who enjoys building long-term relationships and working across functions and cultures. You combine commercial awareness with a structured and analytical approach and are comfortable balancing customer requirements with business priorities. You communicate clearly, take a pragmatic approach to challenges, and contribute positively to teamwork and shared objectives.

 

You also have:

  • University degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in international sales and marketing of electrical components or equipment
  • Experience managing people and commercial teams
  • Technical understanding of energy distribution and transmission systems
  • Fluency in English and Swedish
  • Experience with SAP (preferred)
