As HR Manager Manufacturing, you will oversee the people strategy for NKT’s large-scale operations in Karlskrona, supporting about 800 employees and more than 40 managers across production, maintenance and quality. Support essential HR partnerships in a growing environment
In this role, you will be the strategic and operational HR partner for NKT’s cable manufacturing operations, ensuring quality across the full employee lifecycle. You will lead a smaller team of HR Professionals and work closely with production leaders to strengthen leadership capability, enhance organizational effectiveness and support business transformation. Your work will directly shape talent management, engagement, Lean leadership and labor relations in a unionized environment.
Key deliverables:
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle from workforce planning to offboarding
• Coordinate recruitment strategies and build robust talent pipelines
• Build leadership capacity through coaching and professional development
• Support Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
• Handle employee relations, labor affairs and union negotiations
• Be a speaking partner to the manufacturing- and maintenance leadership team
You will report to Senior Director People & Culture. The role is based in Karlskrona.
HR leader with solid manufacturing experience
We are looking for an experienced and collaborative HR leader who thrives in a changing industrial environment and is comfortable working in a factory setting with a large workforce of skilled operators.
You build trust with leaders at all levels and enjoy coaching them to grow their capabilities. You bring a structured, pragmatic and solution-focused approach, while effectively combining long-term strategy with direct HR support. You communicate clearly, navigate change with ease and bring energy to developing people, teams and culture. You value close collaboration with the business and are focused on generating impact through leadership excellence and organizational development.
Required skills
• 8+ years of HR experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Solid knowledge of Swedish labor law and union environments
• Experience leading HR teams
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching capability
• Experience in organizational development and change management
Preferred
• Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing environments
