Develop workforce planning and learning strategies
As Resource & Training Manager, you will oversee resource planning and competence development activities across the organisation. The role combines strategic planning with operational follow-up, ensuring effective capacity management, resource allocation and training initiatives. You will work closely with managers and stakeholders to identify competence needs, coordinate development activities and ensure compliance with certification and training requirements. Through data analysis, workforce planning and continuous improvement, you will support long-term organisational capability and resource availability.
Your responsibility will be to:
• Lead resource planning, capacity management and resource allocation activities
• Develop and maintain training and competence development strategies
• Identify competence gaps and establish long-term training plans
• Coordinate internal and external training activities and certification requirements
• Monitor key metrics related to resources, competence and training initiatives
The role involves close collaboration with resource managers, planners, trainers and business stakeholders.
The position is based in Sweden and may include travel depending on business requirements.

You are organised and enjoy balancing long-term planning with day-to-day activities. You communicate clearly, build positive working relationships and work effectively with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation. You approach challenges with a practical mindset and enjoy identifying opportunities for improvement. In addition, you are comfortable working with data, following up activities and supporting others in achieving common objectives. Your collaborative approach helps create alignment across teams and supports a positive and inclusive working environment.
You also have:
• Relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience
• Experience in resource planning, capacity management or workforce management
• Experience managing training and competence development initiatives
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, written and spoken
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant planning or HR systems
• Experience from project-intensive or technical organisations is an advantage
