Coordinate and manage engineering throughout the full project lifecycle
As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical execution of our delivery projects, ensuring that our cable system designs are high‑quality, cost‑efficient and aligned with customer and industry requirements. You oversee and delegate electrical, thermal and mechanical calculations, define related test programs and manage the engineering budget for products, testing and engineering work. In this role, you act as the main technical liaison throughout the project, collaborate with production experts, evaluate risks and opportunities and secure compliance with all technical and contractual requirements. You will also work closely with other Project Engineers to align methods and best practices across projects.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Guiding the technical aspects of the project and managing engineering execution
  • Designing high‑quality, cost‑efficient cable systems aligned with customer and industry requirements
  • Organizing, delegating and supervising electrical, thermal and mechanical calculations and related test programs
  • Monitoring and executing the engineering budget for products, testing and engineering work
  • Acting as the technical liaison to customers and ensuring compliance with all contract specifications


The position is based in Karlskrona or Malmö, with occasional travel depending on project needs.


Engineer focused on precision, leadership and technical excellence
We are looking for an engineer who demonstrates initiative and is detail‑oriented, with a solid technical foundation and the ability to organize and structure complex engineering tasks. You plan your own work effectively and are meticulous in collecting, analyzing and presenting technical data. You communicate clearly when interacting with customers and colleagues and you contribute to a collaborative environment where technical knowledge and best practices are shared.


You also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as electrical engineering, physics, mathematics or chemistry
  • Experience from the high‑voltage cable industry or other high‑voltage environments
  • Proficiency using modern 3D modeling software applications, such as Matlab and Comsol
  • A solid technical foundation and commitment to continuous skill development
  • Advanced analytical and systematic problem‑solving capabilities
  • Attention to detail and the ability to produce high‑quality technical documentation
